With 19 years dedicated to special education in the Inclusion and Small group instruction, I am a passionate teacher committed to empowering middle school students, grade 6-8, to thrive. I offer comprehensive support across all subjects, teaching foundational concepts and proactively pre-teaching upcoming material to build confidence. Beyond academics, I equip students with essential organizational skills to foster independence and success. I believe every child can learn and grow, and I tailor my approach to meet individual needs and learning styles. I'd describe my personality as friendly, caring and knowledgeable. I like tutoring because I enjoy helping children take ownership of their learning and success. I'm looking for a job that I can work with a student in grades 6-8th. Flexible days and 1-2 hrs sessions. In my spare time, I like to walk my dogs and spend time with my family.
