About Sariah

Hi! My name is Sariah, and I love helping kids feel confident in what they're learning. I started tutoring in high school with elementary and middle school students and continue to tutor now in college. I know school can feel overwhelming, so I try to make learning fun and encourage questions without pressure. I lean toward visual and hands-on learning because it helps students understand and remember while making it more enjoyable. My skills include reading comprehension and ELA, math, and science. I enjoy tutoring because it lets me mentor students, build confidence, and celebrate progress. I'm usually available Monday, Wednesday, and Friday afternoons and evenings. One thing you should know about me is that I truly care about building relationships, not just schoolwork, and I also have my own transportation to help with after-school pick up. Outside of tutoring, I like to cook, spend time with friends, and DJ!
