About Shannon

Hello, my name is Shannon but I go by Shay. I am currently a student. I am working on my Masters in Social Work. I have my associates in chemical dependency counseling, and my bachelors in social work. I have experience with many different populations. I worked for four years at Lakebreeze with teenagers with mental health/behavioral issues. I have worked for two and a half years for Lakeview Health Services at their crisis center. I also spent over three years working for an elderly woman, whom I adored. I interned at the Canandaigua VA for nine months while obtaining my associates degree. I spent the majority of my younger years babysitting and I am raising two children. I have over 20 certifications in subjects such as cognitive behavioral therapy, HIPPA regulations, medication management, mandated reporting, trauma-informed care, etc. I would be happy to provide my resume and certifications.
