Hi! I am a professional musician by training, but I've always enjoyed working with young children. When COVID occurred and music jobs became harder to come by, I worked full-time in a childcare center with infants and toddlers. I found that I loved working with babies and young children, so even as music jobs became available again, I continued to work part-time in childcare. I especially love caring for infants, and have a lot of patience and empathy for those precious little ones. I have some training in the RULER method of social and emotional intelligence education for young children, and apply it even with the youngest of infants. I also love to do music and movement with any children in my care, and you'll often find me singing and swaying according to Edwin Gordon's Music Learning Theory in a way research has shown helps infants and young children optimize their music aptitude. She is always on time, reliable, kind, caring, personable, and will seamlessly become part of your family in a short period of time. She looked after our 6 month old daughter for almost a year. We loved her creativity and how she fostered our daughters develop during such a critical time for milestones. She always had creative activities planned for our daughter and was a wealth of knowledge in development given her extensive experience in the childcare world. She helped us with solids and sleep and had great suggestions for us (so helpful to first time parents!). We were devastated to move and not be able to take her with us! She is simply the best!
