About Sophia

Hi! My name is Sophie, and I'm currently finishing my degree in Secondary Education. I will be joining Elkhorn South High School in the fall. I have several years of childcare experience working with children in both school and daycare settings, including at Primrose School of Lavista, PLCS Kids Club, and the UNL Children's Center. Through these roles, I've gained experience supervising children, creating engaging activities, helping with routines, and building positive relationships with both kids and families. I'm responsible, patient, energetic, and love creating a fun environment where children feel safe and supported. My background in education has also given me strong skills in communication, behavior support, and helping children learn and grow. I'm looking for a full-time summer position and am happy to assist with childcare, homework help, light household tasks, and keeping kids active and entertained throughout the day.
