About Susana

Art and/or Spanish Tutoring I've won over five regional and national art awards, including the prestigious Scholastic Art Awards where I was honored as an American Visions Nominee, award given to less than 1% of participants. As the president of my school's art and calligraphy club, I've had the opportunity to plan lessons, and organize activities. This experience has given me the skills to create engaging, hands-on art lessons that help others grow artistically while having fun. Native fluency and practice, I'm a native Spanish speaker from Colombia, where I lived for almost 14 years. This gives me not only fluency but also a deep connection to the culture. I also assist in my school's Spanish class, which has helped me learn how to plan lessons, explain concepts clearly, and support students as they learn the language.
