Hello! I'm looking for a PT position, 2-3 consistent days a week (~25hrs/week) My philosophy for childcare is simple: children are people. They have the right to the same amount of respect, consideration, and agency as anyone else. This means that my expectations for myself and the children I work with are the same: kindness, respect, accountability, and safety. When I work with kids, we're on the same team. Our goal is to be safe, learn, and have fun! I believe that play is how children learn, so let's play as much as possible! Additionally, I have extensive experience in supporting ND and trauma-impacted youth (e. g. autism and other developmental disabilities, mental health challenges). I'm pursuing a degree in developmental psychology, and am trained on ND-affirming and trauma responsive caretaking. Outside of work, I'm a crafter/artist of many disciplines, I love mystery stories, and history. I look forward to hearing from you if you think we are a good fit!
