Hello.. My name is Theresa.. I have been doing home care / care giving and Hospice service for over 20 years. I got into home care after I volunteered for San Diego Hospice when they where in full swing and open after I finished Massage therapy school. I wanted to give back and found myself wanting to give more than just massage. I decided to go into home care shortly after. I have a passion and desire to care for those who are hurting and need assistance so they can also stay in their home. I feel it was my calling being at an early age of 10 I was helping elderly in their homes by cleaning and doing odd Jobs as my brother would cut their grass. I have plenty of experience with Dementia, Alzheimer's, Parkinson. I live alone and have the flexibility and freedom to work a easy schedule. I have lots of experience and long term clients with references . :) I am State registered < TB Tested current and CPR certified

Theresa recently came to provide live-in care for my Dad in the last few weeks of his life. She was a consummate professional and instrumental in helping us manage his care as his condition quickly deteriorated (and we live up in N. CA). Theresa is incredibly caring and very experienced in supporting various medical conditions. She went way above and beyond the call of duty to support our family in our time of need. My Dad could be stubborn and difficult, and she found a way to win him over and he really came to appreciate her. It can feel so vulnerable to bring a virtual stranger into your life at such a difficult time, but Theresa proved herself to be an incredibly trustworthy and capable caregiver. We are so grateful that we found her through Care.com, and I cannot recommend her highly enough.
