About Vitoria

Vitória lived with and worked for our family as an au pair for nearly 2 years, caring for our two sons, who were 3 and 5 years old when she started (and 5 and 7 when she finished). From the beginning, she was an incredible caregiver—warm, responsible, and deeply engaged in our children’s lives. We loved her infectious laugh and the joy she brought with her to every event. She was incredibly reliable. She took the initiative to find age-appropriate, engaging activities in our community and built a balanced daily schedule that kept the boys active, learning, and having fun. She encouraged creativity through art projects, play, and exploration, and she was always patient and thoughtful in her approach. When the boys were upset, she had a natural ability to redirect them calmly and kindly. They came to trust her completely and often shared their worries and joys with her, a true testament to the emotional connection she built. She shared the kids joys and communicated any issues that occurred with the boys. This helped us support our kids' growth. We also fully trusted her with driving responsibilities. She safely transported the boys to school, playdates, and activities, always ensuring they arrived on time and prepared. Beyond her care for the kids, she also adored our family dog and treated her as part of the family. We are so grateful for the time she spent with us and cannot recommend her highly enough.
