I hold a graduate degree and focus on building confidence, fostering a love for learning, and empowering students to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills. I actively listen to students and observe their initial interactions with new material. Regular parental check-ins and feedback are important. I break down complex problems into manageable steps to build momentum. Interactive discussions and questions encourage curiosity and critical thinking. Communication builds trust and a collaborative environment. Seeing a student's confidence grow as they master new skills is the most rewarding aspect of tutoring. I have a car, am comfortable with pets, and would love to help your student succeed!
