He has been teaching for seven years, specializing in tailoring lessons to each student based on their unique music goals. Taylor strongly believes music should be a joyful and fun experience where students’ development is fueled primarily by their own love of their favorite music. Lesson plans focus on learning accessible songs of the student’s choice, and developing skills through that process. Taylor also has a home studio in which he helps his students record, and learn how to record their own music with professional quality. Formal Education: In May 2015, Taylor graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Connecticut, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Music Psychology. Private Education: During his youth, Taylor attended weekly private lessons for ten years with a distinguished instructor. Performing Experience: Taylor is a performing singer songwriter, and has performed locally throughout New England as well as California. He has also performed internationally in Australia, the UK, France, Thailand, and Cambodia. Experience Teaching: Taylor has taught private music lessons for seven years.
