Quiet and polite, he was characterized as an above-average student with an aptitude for art. At the age of seven, he started playing in colleges. "Coco's" career took off in 1970; by fifteen he was a professional musician. That same year, he was invited by Vinicius de Moraes to play in "La Fusa" Punta del Este, Uruguay. Coco went on to pursue a solo career in Buenos Aires, often performing with other talented musicians. Important for his musical development was Herminio Gimenez, one of the greatest Latin American composers of all time. His first guitar classes were taught by Ramon Escude, one of the great flamenco guitarists of Catalonia, Spain. Coco is a talented artist with universal appeal and diverse range of artistic influences; he has created his own original style. The Wildest of "Coco's" Dreams become reality. In America and Europe, he had become a very popular live act in the early 1980s. Through his wide list of Maestros, he has advanced the technical and musical boundaries of his instrument. No one has ever played his guitar in such a brilliant manner. He has been a successful musician in many styles such as Bossa Nova, Rumba, Flamenco, Jazz, Pop, Blues, Boleros, Guajira, Salsa, Tango, Guaranias and more... Blessed with a bilingual voice, Irresistible, Interpretive, and Perceptive, Coco sings Brazilian classics with his breathy and romantic vocals. His musical knowledge borders on the hypnotic, singing and playing with relentless passion. You'll have an unforgetable musical experience. He can burn through an Afro-Cuban groove, tear up a Latin Jazz tune, and sooth you with a luscious ballad with equal power and grace. Each show reveals a distinctly different side of his personality character and sensibility. Intimate heartfelt Boleros and a huge variety of music may take his audiences by a real enchanting surprise. Coco is a Musician, Singer, Composer, Author, Band Leader, and teacher.
