He has also received many awards for his playing, including Rock City News' "Best Alternative Band of the Year" in 2005 with the LA rock group The Faded. He was also nominated for "Bassist of the Year" and won the popular vote the same year. I was the bassist for Virginia's All-State Jazz band for 3 consecutive years. As a member of LA's The Faded won Rock City News' "Best Alternative Band of the Year" in 2005, and was nominated for "Best Bassist of the Year" (and received the most popular votes in the catagory). As a member of the LA rock group AURA, our first studio CD received an 8.6 from Music Connection Magazine. Since then I have worked as a bassist-for-hire in the Los Angeles music community.
