We promote a healthy lifestyle through fun physical activity and creative self-expression set to upbeat, kid-friendly pop music. This is a performance-based program where dancers work toward a final rockin’ showcase in costumes for family and friends to enjoy. Dancers will get to keep their Funky show t-shirt after the show! Kids Club Music 2 classes encourage toddlers to discover their own ideas and explore. Each class offers plenty of fun through singing, dancing and instrument play. These kids explore their new movement and language skills with a sense of security, comfort and confidence.

In Music 2, children will begin to experiment with ways to play musical instruments, accompany a song with rhythm, and act out lyrics through movements using both gross motor and fine motor skills. Children know so much about music at this stage, and are at the beginning stages of being able to express themselves musically!

Cantabile Choir members focus on learning to sing as an ensemble as we prepare music, including songs in foreign languages, to be performed at TCHA’s Choir Concert at the end of the semester (Tuesday, December 1st at 7pm). Cantabile may also perform at the Mall of America during the Christmas season (date TBD). They will sing music from different genres, singing unison, 2-part, and 3-part music. Cantabile is appropriate for boys with unchanged voices.
