Public speaking skills are absolutely ESSENTIAL to academia, future career success, and to simply making friends or standing up for yourself! In this 5 day, 3-hours per day program, we will have a TON of fun covering: - How to best PERFORM in ANY type of public speaking situation! - How to conquer any level of NERVOUSNESS! - How to STRUCTURE any type of speech! - The Fundamentals of Persuasive Speech, Storytelling, and Impromptu Speech! - Intro to Debate Concepts! Every day, the students will have multiple opportunities to practice what WE preach and receive feedback! We’ll explore color, composition, and visual storytelling as you bring sound to life on canvas—whether that means bold abstract expression, detailed imagery, or a mix of both. Guidance will be provided on layout, lettering, and creative techniques to help you capture the essence of your chosen music. Perfect for teens and adults of all skill levels, this class encourages personal expression and artistic freedom. Leave with a finished piece that looks like it belongs on the front of your very own record.

This upbeat and challenging combo class builds on the foundational skills introduced in Level 1 while continuing to develop technique, rhythm, coordination, and performance quality in both jazz and tap dance. Dancers will expand their vocabulary through more complex combinations, across-the-floor progressions, turns, jumps, and rhythmic tap patterns. Class focuses on strengthening musicality, flexibility, precision, and confidence while encouraging students to grow as performers. Students will continue developing strong classroom habits and dance terminology while learning to pick up choreography more quickly and perform with greater expression and style. In jazz, dancers will work on sharper movement quality, transitions, and stage presence, while tap training will emphasize timing, clarity of sounds, and rhythmic accuracy. This class is designed to help dancers build technical skills and confidence as they prepare for more advanced dance training and performance opportunities. This class will participate in a brief recital alongside other dance classes at the end of the semester. Students from Jazz/Tap Level 1 MUST get permission from the instructor to register for this course prior to registration. Required Materials: Black tap shoes Tan jazz shoes Comfortable fitted dancewear Hair secured away from the face Water bottle Dance bag for shoes and personal items This registration fee DOES NOT include costumes. Parents can expect to purchase a costume for their child for the end of semester recital, selected by the instructor of the class. This class is for you! Intro to Musical Theatre Dance introduces students to the fundamentals of musical theatre dance technique and performance. Dancers will explore jazz-based movement, musicality, character expression, and storytelling through choreography inspired by Broadway productions. Emphasis is placed on confidence, coordination, stage presence, and ensemble work in a positive and supportive atmosphere. Students will also have a few weeks dedicated to learning introductory tap steps. Students will develop skills that directly support future stage performances, including learning choreography quickly, taking direction, staying in character while dancing, and performing confidently as part of an ensemble. The techniques and performance habits introduced in class will help prepare dancers for TCHA musicals, community theatre productions, auditions, and future musical theatre opportunities both on and off the stage. No prior experience is required for this class. In this collaborative, creativity driven class for grades 7–12, students will bring stories to life through the art of puppetry. From the first spark of an idea to final performance, participants will work together to create original stories, design and build puppets, and develop engaging characters. Students will explore storytelling, voice, movement, and basic performance techniques while learning how to communicate clearly and connect with an audience. The class will culminate in a special performance (or performances) for elementary-aged students, giving participants the opportunity to share their creativity and bring joy to a younger audience. This is a perfect class for students who love acting, storytelling, art, or simply creating something meaningful as part of a team. *The tuition includes a $20 supply fee to cover materials.

We are offering 11 different art camps/ new curriculum for Art Camps this summer. Art Camp at All Things Art Studio is the best way to experience total immersion in a summer art program! It's fun & and students get a chance to delve into their creative selves without crazy time restraints. Students will also get to Tie Dye an All Things Art Studio Camp Shirt (or other item for repeat campers) on Day 1! (included in the fee of camp). In the mornings, they will be working on individual projects, and the afternoon art academy will give them a relaxed but focused exercise in fine arts. There will be landscape drawing and painting, and still life exploration. We explore drawing, clay, printmaking, textiles, weaving, watercolor, acrylics, tempera paint, glazing & more! We will work with canvas, clay, watercolor, tissue paper and many other types of medium as well. Every camp is a different curriculum, so please register for as many as you can :) It's an amazing week for students, they meet and make new art friends and enjoy the warm summer weather. Bring a sack lunch each day and a water bottle, We will have outdoor lunch & walk in the neighborhood- plus outdoor "en plain air" instruction in their daily journal/ sketchbook. Bring it on! Some of our Elementary, Middle School and High School groups will be offered at the same times & days (convenient for families with older & younger children). But the Camps will be separated by the groups and have different curriculum and locations within the studio. (MS/HS have a seperate registration with separate curriculum)

During our days together at Hilltop Creative Summer Camp we will start our mornings off with free exploration, morning greetings, snack and an indoor creative activity. We will have outdoor time on neighborhood hikes and also will visit our local playgrounds and recreational areas Bernal Heights, Holly Park and St Mary's. It's been a long time coming! Get ready to perform in the ultimate (not Cruel) Summer concert featuring songs from Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour! This week long camp features daily vocal coachings, pop star prep, and choreography rehearsals that will give your camper the opportunity to train like a pop star! Campers will also be given the chance to discover what goes on “behind the scenes” helping to create costume pieces, sets, and props that they'll use in their fully staged Concert at the end of the week!
