This class will teach the student who is at the beginning of their musical journey how to read notes on a staff, how to understand musical terms in a piece of music, and how to understand and follow various parts in a choral piece. We will explore vocal ranges, matching pitch with a group, sight reading simple tunes, and following a choral part. This class is highly recommended for anyone interested in singing in the upper level choirs, especially for those with no other musical background.

Viva La Música en Español! Canta y Baila Conmigo, is the very best research-based program that combines music education and language immersion. Intended for both the native Spanish speakers and eager Spanish learners, Canta y Baila is enriching and fun! Offering a playful, interactive atmosphere where language learning is integrated naturally and organically in the musical experience. Children are effortlessly absorbing and using the Spanish language, through the irresistible sounds and rhythms of Spanish speaking countries, while exploring melody, rhythm, movement, instrument and prop play each week. Journey to the Land of Oz, and uncover it's secrets! Filled with magic and music, this week-long camp is the perfect excursion for little ones who love songs and theater! This will be sure to spark their imagination as they defy gravity in a play pretend world. Be sure to join us on the last day for a show! Drop off is from 9am - 9:30 and pick up is anytime between 2:30 - 3:00pm. This camp is held offsite at MoBu. Refund Policy: Please note that we have a no refund policy. Full credits will be issued for anything with a 4 week notice and can be used for any future Rabbit Hole activity. After 4 weeks we are unable to credit. If your child is sick or you need to miss a day of camp we will have a camp bag ready for you at the studio. This bag will be filled with enchanted projects, art materials, audio and video links and anything your kiddo might be missing in class. This fun and energetic combo class introduces young dancers to the fundamentals of both jazz and tap dance in a supportive and engaging environment. Students will build coordination, rhythm, flexibility, balance, and musicality while learning beginner jazz technique and foundational tap skills. Class will include warm-ups, across-the-floor exercises, basic combinations, and age-appropriate choreography designed to keep dancers moving and learning. Through both styles, dancers will develop confidence, classroom discipline, listening skills, and performance quality while exploring movement and self-expression. Jazz encourages strong technique, sharp movement, and stage presence, while tap focuses on rhythm, timing, and sound awareness. This class provides a strong foundation for future dance training and performance opportunities. No prior experience is required, just a willingness to learn and have fun! Music Makers get to experience making music together through singing rounds and folk songs, as well as expressing themselves through movement. They will continue developing a foundation in music concepts-such as note reading, dynamics, tempo, steady beats, reading rhythms, etc.-through singing and playing classroom instruments. Students will perform at TCHA’s Choir Concert at the end of the semester (Tuesday, December 1st at 7pm).

At Camp Footsteps Junior Explorers 2026, children entering TK through first grade will embark on a summer filled with imagination, friendship, and adventure. Each themed week is thoughtfully designed to spark curiosity, build confidence, and encourage creativity through hands-on learning and play. From inventing and building during Maker’s Week to celebrating freedom and culture during Juneteenth: Freedom to Dream Week, every day brings new opportunities to explore, create, and grow. Campers will enjoy a wide variety of engaging activities, including art projects, outdoor games, field trips, science explorations, cooking projects, and meaningful community experiences that connect learning with fun. Our experienced and caring staff create a safe, nurturing environment where young children are encouraged to try new things, develop friendships, and discover their unique strengths. From making star-worthy crafts to walking the “red carpet,” campers will discover how imagination and teamwork bring stories to life. The week will end with a mini showcase where our Hollywood stars can shine for friends and family. Special Event: Red Carpet Premiere Day Campers perform skits or share short videos they’ve made during the week. There will be a photo wall and fun award certificates such as Best Director, Most Creative, and Best Teamwork.
