About Brooke

I'd describe my personality as compassionate, inquisitive, and patient. I like tutoring because I love working one on one with children to overcome challenges and exceed goals. Seeing children shine and gain confidence is spectacular. I'm looking for a job that helps homeschooling families. I can create curriculum specialized for students, differentiate pre chosen curriculum, or facilitate a pre selected program. I started tutoring when I was earning my Masters degree in 2010 and have continued to throughout my career, including homeschooling for many families. In my spare time, I like to cheer on my kids at sports, go for runs, read, walk/hike with friends and family, and travel. I am an experienced educator with a versatile background. No matter my role, I've always specialized in differentiating learning to meet the needs and goals of each individual child. My skills include reading intervention, study and organizational skills, differentiating curriculum.
