About Melissa

Hi! I have many years of experience as a Special Education Teacher's Assistant in both public and private schools, along with extensive experience as an ABA therapist working with children on the autism spectrum. I've supported a wide range of ages and abilities and always focus on meeting each child where they're at. My ABA background, especially with Discrete Trial Training (DTT), helps me break skills into small, manageable steps so learning feels achievable and less overwhelming. I use positive reinforcement, patience, and consistency to build confidence, independence, and a love for learning. More than anything, I truly care about the children I work with. I create a calm, supportive environment where they feel safe to grow and be themselves. I also value strong communication and enjoy working closely with families.
