    Faye's Music Lessons (Piano)

    by Taylor Robinson Music

    New Port Richey, FL

Years of Experience: 40 Location Options: In Home Travel Radius: 40 Genres: Rock, Jazz, Classical Age Groups: Children, Young Adult Instruments Taught: Keyboard and Piano Lessons Overview: I have taught private piano since 1970, immediately after receiving my Bachelor's of Music in Piano Performance from East Carolina University. I received NJ certification in classroom music, grades K-12 in 1973, but now realize after considerable experience in school music education, that my passion and greatest expertise lies in one-on-one piano instruction. My other strong area exists in church music: choir direction, playing the organ, and piano in service and rehearsal. I reinforced my musical competency significantly through non-matriculated coursework and organ studies at Westminster Choir College, 1986-1991. As a piano educator, I teach my students self-sufficiency at the piano, thorough understanding of music theory; and enthusiasm for music, through appreciation of composers and repertoire through the eras.
