I was principal cellist of the SEU Orchestra for one semester, and moved over to Piano III for the Spring 2019 semester. Private Education: I have worked with Cindy Magana and Rod Maldonado on private lessons. Performing Experience: I have played in the El Paso Symphonic Youth Orchestras (EPYS and EPYO) and every year I auditioned for All-Region I made it, but my proudest year was when I was a sophomore and I made fourth chair in the symphony orchestra. I love being in orchestra; however I love playing solos. I have played the Bach Suite in G Major, Prelude and Gigue, the Elgar Cello Concerto in E Minor, Movements I and III. I do find myself having a harder time teaching those pieces, but it is really hard to convert from student to teacher when it comes to doing solos.
