3-4 years old Discover the joy of movement in our Introduction to Dance I class designed for children ages 3 to 4! Through fun activities and creative play, young dancers will explore various movement styles, develop coordination, and unleash their creativity in a supportive and engaging environment. Join us for a lively dance experience that will inspire a love for dance and movement from an early age!

Musical illustration: For this project, students will be taking inspiration from their favorite musicians to create their very own illustrative piece. Meant to be interpreted both literally and figuratively, they will craft an image of their own imagination informed by their artists of choice...through visuals, lyrics and/or likeness. This weekly 2-hour class is a great option for kids looking to move ahead with their artistic talents. Students can choose to come on Tuesdays, or Thursdays, or both! Whatever works best for your schedule. The students are given more independence and freedom to be creative with the projects, and they have more autonomy in how their projects go. Projects often run for 3-4 weeks to give students the extra time to create a really impressive piece. Recommended for ages 10-16.

Preschool Play and Prep is a playful program designed to introduce children 2-3 years-old to concepts of early learning in a preschool type environment. We use a thematic approach with age appropriate activities to engage children utilizing books, music, art and movement. Socialization, learning to take turns and cooperative problem solving are all part of this fun and engaging program. Caregivers will leave the class after the first 15 minutes. If the student is not toilet trained, the caregiver must remain in the lobby for diaper changes. Where they are: Your little learner is ready to start on ABC’s and 123’s. They are showing more interest in talking and figuring out the relationship between letters and language. They are also ready to learn basic counting skills and the relationship that numbers have to objects.

Campers will learn the foundations of musical theatre while experiencing the thrill of an intensive audition and rehearsal process. Throughout the week, they will participate in music, choreography, and blocking rehearsals, all in preparation for their final performance on the last day of camp. Don’t worry – it’s not all work and no play here at Stages! We take advantage of the fun and freedom of summer, ensuring campers have time outside each day as well as free play (and rest). They’ll also be given the chance to discover what goes on “behind the scenes” helping to create costume pieces, sets, and props that they'll use in their final performance! BEST OF ALL? Set sail and dive into an ocean of adventure in this weeklong activity! Children will embark on a magical journey on an imaginary ocean, where they'll discover magical worlds, solve puzzles, and encounter fantastical creatures. This week-long musical theater camp inspired by Descendants 1, 2, AND 3 (with a bit of Rise of Red thrown in too!) will use your child’s favorite songs, stories, and characters to help them develop the skills every performer needs to perform on a Broadway Stage. Campers will spend the week singing, dancing, acting, and rehearsing for an end of the week showcase which will take place on the last day of camp! They’ll also be given the chance to discover what goes on “behind the scenes” with art projects that introduce them to theatrical elements such as costume set design. Don’t worry – it’s not all work and no play here at Stages! We take advantage of the fun and freedom of summer, ensuring campers have time outside each day as well as free play (and rest).
